1. About YBT
YBT is a digital learning marketplace that allows:
Teachers to create accounts, upload video courses, and sell educational content.
Students to browse, purchase, and access courses.
Admin (YBT) to manage the platform, users, content approval, and policies.
Note: YBT acts as a technology facilitator, not as an educational institution.
2. Eligibility
Users must be 18 years or older to register.
Minors may use the platform only under parent/guardian supervision.
Teachers must provide accurate and genuine information during registration.
3. User Accounts
Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
YBT is not responsible for unauthorized access due to user negligence.
Providing false or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination.
4. Terms for Teachers
By registering as a Teacher on YBT, you agree that:
You own or have full rights to the content you upload.
Uploaded content must not:
- Violate copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws
- Contain illegal, abusive, misleading, or offensive material
Teachers are solely responsible for:
- Accuracy and quality of course content
- Claims made in videos or descriptions
YBT reserves the right to:
Review, approve, reject, or remove any course
Suspend or terminate teacher accounts for policy violations
Revenue Sharing: Revenue sharing will be as per platform policy, which may change in the future. Teachers are responsible for their own tax compliance.
5. Terms for Students
By using YBT as a Student, you agree that:
Purchased courses are for personal use only.
Course access is provided for a limited period as defined by YBT.
Downloaded content (if allowed) is:
- Restricted to the app
- Not transferable or shareable
Course fees are non-transferable.
Refunds, if any, are subject to YBT's Refund Policy.
6. Payments & Transactions
All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways.
YBT is not responsible for payment gateway failures or delays.
Prices, commissions, and revenue models may be modified at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform design, logos, branding, and software belong to YBT.
Teachers retain ownership of their content but grant YBT a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, and promote the content on the platform.
Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or misuse is strictly prohibited.
8. Platform Rights (Admin Rights)
YBT reserves the absolute right to:
Modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service
Change pricing, revenue sharing, or policies
Remove content or users without prior notice
Monitor platform activity for compliance
9. Right to Modify Terms
YBT may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of the platform after changes implies full acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
YBT shall not be liable for:
Learning outcomes or academic results
Teacher-student disputes
Content accuracy or promises made by teachers
Technical failures, data loss, or service interruptions
Use of the platform is at the user's own risk.
11. Suspension & Termination
YBT may suspend or terminate accounts if:
Terms are violated
Illegal or unethical activity is detected
Platform misuse is observed
No compensation shall be payable in such cases.
12. Privacy
User data is handled as per YBT's Privacy Policy. By using YBT, you consent to data collection and usage as outlined therein.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Maharashtra, India.
